In the Research and Training Hospital within the body of Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, Dokuz Eylül University KİTVAK – Abdulrezzak Sancak Guest-House for Patients and Patient’s Relatives, the foundations of which were laid in 2013, was put into service on December 18, 2017 for the accommodation of patient’s relatives and patients who undergo a treatment in the hospital campus located in Balçova. It was established on the area of 4400 m2 with 41 rooms and 82 bed capacity. There are a playground, library and cafeteria in the facility.

In total, 30,000 nights have been spent since the date of opening to the first half of 2019. Patients and patient’s relatives continue to stay in the facility.
