HEART AMBASSADOR

KİTVAK (the Foundation for Establishing and Developing Bone Marrow Transplantation and Oncology Hospital) established ‘KİTVAK HEART AMBASSADOR OF YEAR’ Award Program to give importance and support social responsibility in our society, to carry out works and offer services to have people get better health and aid service, to encourage people accordingly and bring the concept of welfare in Turkish society.

The following categories are awarded in this program.

  • Heart Ambassador Award

    This award is granted to successful individuals or institutions in their fields who are elected by the Board of KİTVAK in order to raise awareness on social responsibility and to promote and carry out projects to make contribution to the welfare of our society.

  • Policies

    Each August, the individuals or institutions eligible for the award criteria are determined by the Board of KİTVAK.  “Heart Ambassador of Year” is elected among these individuals or institutions following the evaluation of the Board.
    Upon the decision taken by majority of votes, the individual or institution to be awarded is informed in written. The relevant party is honored with a “KİTVAK Heart Ambassador of Year” plaque which will be designed in September.

  • Evaluation Criteria

    The following criteria are considered in the evaluation process of the Board.

    Being a well-respected, well-known, reliable and actively-working individual or institution
    Being aware towards social responsibility projects and involved in such projects
    Playing an active role in awareness-raising on social responsibility in society
    Not being granted KİTVAK Heart Ambassador Award before
    Not being involved in any committee of KİTVAK
